Wyatt's Showdown Dream Comes True

With a little help from Variety, that dream became reality.

Because of supporters like you, children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability can experience opportunities they never thought possible.

From running onto the field to presenting the Variety Showdown Medal, Wyatt experienced the kind of moments every young footy fan dreams about.

About Wyatt
Wyatt is one of our incredible grant recipients, and there's nothing he loves more than footy.
How Variety Helped
Thanks to a Variety SA grant, Wyatt was able to access an ASD assessment, which led to his autism diagnosis and helped his family better understand and support his needs.
The Variety Showdown Partnership
Recently, Wyatt experienced the opportunity of a lifetime as the Variety SA mascot for Showdown 60. He proudly ran out with the Port Adelaide team before presenting the Variety Showdown Medal to the player of the match.

Ahead of the big game, Wyatt was surprised with his very own playing guernsey and even enjoyed a kick with Port Adelaide star Ollie Wines.

It was an unforgettable experience for Wyatt and a wonderful reminder of the incredible opportunities made possible through Variety SA and our valued partnerships.
