The Variety Aussie Muscle Car is an annual motoring event incorporating Muscle cars of the golden era of Bathurst. The AMCR is a seven-day car cruise to help raise funds for kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with disability.

Across seven unforgettable days, the 2026 Variety Aussie Muscle Car Run will journey from the heart of the Barossa Valley through the picturesque Adelaide Hills, across the iconic Wellington Ferry, into the stunning Grampians, and finish with celebrations in Murray Bridge.

Along the way, participants will enjoy exclusive motorsport days at Collingrove Hillclimb, Calder Park Raceway and Bordertown Airfield, making it an unforgettable adventure for every muscle car enthusiast.

" Running the Variety AMCR with co-driver Matt in the HQ Monaro was a very rewarding experience, both during the fundraising period and then on the actual run.

It was our first crack at raising a large sum of money for a charity and no better cause to do it for than Variety SA, with all money going to kids and families in need. We raised almost double the amount we needed in the end and we learnt along the way that the majority of people and businesses we spoke to were very willing to donate to a great well known cause, which was awesome.
